2022 Seminole County Canvassing Board - Runoff Public Notice

Public meeting notice of the Seminole County Canvassing Board for the December 6, 2022 Altamonte Springs Runoff Election: The Seminole County Canvassing Board is scheduled to meet at the following times and dates: November 28 at 10 a.m. for Logic and Accuracy Testing; December 5 at 2 p.m. for canvassing of mail ballots; December 6 at 4 p.m. for Election Day canvassing and certification of initial results; December 9 at 10 a.m. for canvassing of provisional ballots, the manual audit criteria and certification of official results; December 13 at 10 a.m. for the conduct of manual audit. If the board is required to meet at dates and times not listed, the time, date and location will be posted at the office of the Supervisor of Elections and announced at the conclusion of the preceding meeting. Additionally, each meeting may be continued from time to time as needed to address the matters before the canvassing board at such meeting and the canvassing board may discuss other issues or address other matters, in addition to those set forth above, to accomplish the functions of the canvassing board. Persons with disabilities needing assistance to participate in any of these proceedings should contact the Supervisor of Elections Office 48 hours in advance of the meeting at 407-585-VOTE (8683). Persons are advised that if they decide to appeal decisions made at these meetings/hearings they will need a record of the proceedings and for such purpose they need to ensure a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based, per section 286.0105, Florida Statutes. Pursuant to F.S. 101.572 access to review or inspect ballot materials prior to the commencement of canvassing may be granted only to those authorized. Any such request must be made in accordance with the following schedule: December 2 no later than 5 p.m. for December 5 review period 1 p.m. – 2 p.m.; December 5 no later than 5 p.m. for December 6 review period 3 p.m. -- 4 p.m. Requests will be limited to 10 voters selected at random per viewing period for each authorized party.
