SEMINOLE COUNTY SUPERVISOR OF ELECTIONS, CHRIS ANDERSON TO ESTABLISH AN ELECTION COMMISSION

SEMINOLE COUNTY, FL – In response to the proposed Florida Senate Bill 1752, Seminole County Supervisor of Elections, Chris Anderson, is taking proactive measures to ensure the integrity and transparency in elections by establishing a process for 100% audit in election to include hand counting ballots.


Seminole County Supervisor of Elections Chris Anderson proposes the following initiatives:

 

  1. Initiating Full Transparency and Integrity Measures: Recognizing the decline of trust in election administrations across the country, Chris Anderson strives to implement measures that will further improve the transparency and integrity of the electoral process. This commitment mirrors his consistent dedication to these principles since assuming the role of Supervisor of Elections. His objective is to strengthen the already existing trust among the electorate, ensuring a fair and transparent election system.

 

  1. Full Audit Initiative: Supervisor of Elections Chris Anderson is actively pursuing a comprehensive 100% audit of Seminole County's elections. This initiative represents a significant advancement in Chris Anderson's ongoing commitment to enhancing transparency and integrity in the electoral process within Seminole County to ensure Seminole County voters' choices count.

 

  1. Election Commission: Chris Anderson, serving as the Supervisor of Elections for Seminole County, is committed to implementing the most efficient, timely, and trustworthy method for manually counting ballots. To identify the most effective approach, Anderson intends to establish an Election Commission. This commission will comprise representatives from various political parties, including the Republican Party, Democrat Party, Libertarian Party, and an NPA, alongside Anderson himself. The commission's objective is to foster collaboration among its members and engage with experts to develop a comprehensive plan that enhances the hand counting of ballots, thereby improving the efficiency and credibility of the electoral process and administration as well as achieving the 100% audit pathway. The desired outcome is a model that can serve as a n example for election offices across the United States of America.
