Strengthened partnerships to counter threats against elections.

SEMINOLE COUNTY, FL – The Seminole County Supervisor of Elections is announcing a brand-new initiative titled the EVOLVE Partnerships. Standing for Enhancing Voting Operations and Lifting Voter Experiences, this first of its kind initiative allows the Elections Office to increase its partnerships with accredited physical security and cybersecurity agencies as it moves forward to create innovative opportunities to address the challenges found in 21st century elections.

In an announcement made on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, Supervisor Anderson committed the office to lead the way forward and work with our partners to ensure integrity is in every inch of our pathway forward.
“I made a solemn promise to the voters of Seminole County to protect their vote. These partnerships come at a time when our democracy continues to face threats by those who seek to undermine it. By evolving just as the threats to elections have, we will be able to anticipate, assess, and respond to threats as they develop, which will ensure the supreme quality of integrity shines throughout Seminole County’s electoral process,” said Chris Anderson, Supervisor of Elections.

Florida Secretary of State Laurel Lee stated “Governor DeSantis and I have made elections integrity a defining priority and a cornerstone of this administration. That’s why I am proud to support the Seminole County EVOLVE Partnership to ensure that Florida’s elections are accurate, fair, and secure. I know that Supervisor Anderson has worked hard to meet the highest standards for security and integrity and will continue to do so in the 2022 election cycle.”

More information regarding the EVOLVE Partnerships will be coming in the weeks and months ahead as the Supervisor of Elections Office looks to expand its efforts in completing its mission of “Ensuring Your Choice Counts.”
