SEMINOLE COUNTY, FL – Seminole County Supervisor of Elections Chris Anderson and the Florida Supervisors of Elections (FSE) are proud to partner with Florida Secretary of State Laurel M. Lee in support of the National Association of Secretaries of State (NASS) #TrustedInfo2022 initiative. In preparation of the 2022 Election cycle, this voter education effort aims to promote state and local election officials as the trusted sources of election information.

“Misinformation, disinformation, and malinformation (MDM) continue to be threats that seek to undermine not only our democracy, but voter confidence and the integrity of our elections as well,” states Chris Anderson, Seminole County Supervisor of Elections. “As Chair of the Public Relations Work Group within FSE, this partnership with the Secretary of State and NASS was a top priority for our team who came up with the idea in early January. These partnerships are exactly what the EVOLVE Partnerships strive to achieve as we move forward into the future.”
Voter education and awareness is critical to combatting MDM. The Seminole County Supervisor of Elections Office, along with all the Supervisors of Elections in the state of Florida continuously strive to educate our voters about the elections process, including voter registration, election laws, canvassing board requirements, post-election audits, and much more.

While there is a lot of information about voting and elections circulating through media today, not all of it is credible. The Seminole County Supervisor of Elections Office is your source for elections information throughout this 2022 Election season and beyond.
